Each fall, the Steering Committee of Project Corporate Leadership contacts companies in the Birmingham, Alabama area to begin the nomination process.  Companies nominate candidates who demonstrate leadership ability both in their occupation and in their community.  Every effort is made to nominate a diverse group for each class.

Candidates complete the application after being nominated by a member of their company's leadership. Applications are reviewed by the PCL Steering Committee, followed by formal invitations issued to the selected candidates.
